Hi, I’m Rebecca!

First and foremost, I’m so glad you found me! Thank you for being here.

The Invisible Crowd was created in 2023 as a way to connect providers, resources and healthcare workers in Eagle County.

If you’re curious about my background and experience, don’t hesitate to ask!

But for now I will say that I have worked with a broad range of families, from Emmy winners, Retired Diplomats, former NASA employees and also retired teachers and home makers. Every person has a story to tell and a unique history to share.

I have also worked with several organizations in the valley such as Vail Health, Valley View Hospital, Aspen Compassion, Speak Up Reach Out and Eagle County to name a few.

I have lived in Colorado for nearly 20 years but grew up in England. I hold a BA in Psychology from CU Boulder on top of being a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

As a working CNA my passion is connecting with others in medicine and giving them a platform to support each other. Please go to the “I’m a caregiver” button at the top of the page to learn more.

Being a CNA, I am a passionate advocate for the elderly, senior care and finding ways for retirees in Eagle County to age with dignity in their homes. If you are interested in learning more please click on the “I need care” button at the top of the page to be connected with my services.

My door is always open, feel free to shoot me a text or leave me a message! It’s never too early to start planning for the future.

FAQ: Frequently asked questions

Why did you choose the name The Invisible Crowd?

There are so many facets to healthcare. And typically when we think about those in healthcare we think of hospital staff, and there’s no problem with that.

However there is so much more to holistic community based healthcare that goes unrecognized. The OR nurse that enters the room after anesthesia puts you to sleep, the medical assistant answering the phone at your doctor’s office, the lab tech spinning your blood in the back room… and me, the home health caregiver who sneaks in and out of your house trying not to wake anybody up, getting the coffee ready for breakfast! If we don’t have co-workers we can lean on or talk to, we have to form our own community. Although you might not see us at the water cooler, we can still create a place to talk.

But not only healthcare workers deserve a spotlight. It's the unpaid family caregivers that deserve a round of applause too. The ones up all night tending to a sick love one or an agitated family member. I want you to know, your hard work and perseverance is seen.

We are all a valuable piece of the care team. We are all part of The Invisible Crowd that keeps our community going!

Are you a “care agency”?

Absolutely not! Care agencies tend to carry a lot of overhead, miscellaneous fees and care restrictions. What makes The Invisible Crowd a co-op is that we work together as individuals.

For example, if you need a physical therapist I will find you one that can give you exactly what you need, who you can pay directly! That way you get personalized care from the experts themselves.

How is The Invisible Crowd different from other organizations in Eagle County?

The Invisible Crowd is the only co-op of it’s kind in the valley. It is also the only small business specializing in home health care run by a licensed medical professional (Hi, I’m Rebecca, a CNA).

Local, professionally trained, female owned, and constantly adapting to the latest evidence based practices!
